Nigeria’s leading blockchain and Web3 ecosystem players converge as the regional tour builds momentum toward ABF26 × WTS 4.0 in Nairobi.The organizers of Africa Blockchain Festival 2026 × World Token Summit 4.0 (ABF26 × WTS 4.0) have hosted exclusive Block & Chill mixers in Abuja and Lagos, bringing together key players across Nigeria’s growing blockchain, Web3, fintech and digital asset ecosystem.

The Abuja edition welcomed 89 invited ecosystem leaders, developers, creators, investors, and technology enthusiasts for an intimate evening of networking, knowledge exchange, and strategic conversations around the future of decentralized technology in Africa.

Designed as a high-level networking platform, Block & Chill provides an informal environment for industry stakeholders to connect, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities shaping the next phase of Africa’s digital economy.

Speaking at the Abuja gathering, Olubunmi Fabanwo, convener of the Africa Blockchain Festival, said:

“Abuja brought together the people, conversations, and energy, shaping the future of blockchain on the continent. The participation we saw is a strong reflection of the growing interest in Web3, digital assets, and emerging technologies across Africa. We are taking that momentum from Abuja to Lagos and ultimately to Nairobi.”

Following the Abuja edition, the regional tour moved to Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial and technology hub, for another exclusive, invitation-only Block & Chill gathering.

The Lagos mixer further expanded the conversation, bringing together stakeholders from technology, finance, entertainment, investment, and the wider creative economy as the countdown to the Nairobi summit continues.

ROAD TO NAIROBI 2026

The Abuja and Lagos mixers form part of the Road to Nairobi 2026 campaign, building anticipation for the flagship three-day Africa Blockchain Festival × World Token Summit taking place in Kenya.

The summit will bring together technology founders, investors, policymakers, developers, creators, and other ecosystem stakeholders from across Africa and beyond.
