Teen Girls in Blockchain
Ekenekamchukwu Ezeala is a Nigerian tech and community-impact leader relentlessly focused on real inclusion in the blockchain space. His mission is distinct: closing the glaring gaps in gender representation in tech across Nigeria and the broader African continent.
He is the founder of Teen Girls in Blockchain (TGIB) — a purpose-driven initiative launched in 2022. TGIB equips girls aged 10–19 with education, mentorship, and hands-on exposure to blockchain technology. Through workshops and bootcamps, Ekene pushes beyond rhetoric toward tangible skills that reshape career trajectories for young women in underserved communities.
Before launching TGIB, Ekene sharpened his skills at the intersection of community building and media. He served as Partnership Manager at ICP Sahara Hub and COO at CoinNewsExtra, where he expanded blockchain awareness through strategic collaborations.
